PURPOSE OF CREATION
The supreme powers to control the direction and functions of the universe rest with Almighty GOD, its creator by whichever name or form we understand HIM. HIS WILL, therefore, must ultimately prevail in spite of any other evil forces that may be present.
If we look at the history of last few thousands of years we find that although the progress of spirituality may be debatable but certainly the progress in the field of materialism and its progress is unquestionable.
Does it not mean that materialism, and NOT so much the spiritualism, progress is the wish or willful act desired by HIM?
In my view, materialm and spiritual goes hand in hand. Imagine a civilisation many thousands year back. Then there was no materialism nor any spiritualism. The path of spiritualim goes only through materialism.
In Indian philosophy, Maya represents the material reality of the world that covers the true reality of the world. The discovery of the true reality can be made only when a person understand the material world and dicovers that all diverse realities of this universe are actually the menifestation of One Single Reality which we call God.
When there is greater materialim, there is a greater desire of spiritualism.
