Meaning of Pravrutti (Path of Justice)
By :datta swami, datta swami
In this, people
desire the welfare of their body and family. They love their bodies and their
families only. Their real love is not on the God but only on their body and
family. When that welfare is disturbed and when it is not possible to rectify
it by worldly means, then only they look at God. When you get fever and it is
not subsided by the medicines you used, then you are approaching a doctor. Thus
God is only an instrument to achieve the welfare of their body and family. They
pretend real love on God, which is not real. When you go to the doctor you
respect him too much. That respect is not real. That respect is only apparent
and the aim of that respect is only that he will cure carefully your disease. These people do not
bother about tomorrow.
They don’t
bother about the hell after death and about the next birth. Their aim is only
the temporary happiness confined to this birth only. They worship God for this
purpose, which is not true love at all. God also acts accordingly. He postpones
all your bad results to the next births like pro-notes with increased interest.
He brings the good results from future births with reduced values like the
pre-matured deposits.
The Lord will
not save these people in the hell. They will go to the heaven and when the
results of their good deeds are finished, they are thrown back to the earth. In
the future births, which are full of difficulties only, these people weep
scolding the Lord. But the Lord keeps silent, because He acted according to
their prayers only in the previous birth. In this field one can worship the
Lord Vishnu, who is the embodiment of Sattvam quality.
With this quality God
will help you when you worship. But this quality always requires justice and
logic. Therefore, within the rules of the cycle of justice God helps you. He
will never harm you for your worship. In this field God in human form is not
necessary. God will protect the justice by His power. In this field the aim of
the people is not God. Their aim is only protection of justice and their
families.
Lord Krishna did not fight directly in the war because in this field His power
is sufficient to protect the justice. Arjuna was charged with His power and
Arjuna fought with the enemies. In this field the devotees can worship formless
God or statues and can get apparent and temporary protection in this world.

I think, the field actualy depends on our inner self. If we are just, we are in the field of justice and we could see the justice of God. A man, who is unjust may not be able to see the justice of God in this world.

What is justice in your opinion? Does it mean eqaulity?
Sages in the past discussed extensively what is justice and what is not. In that pursuit, they have written Manu smriti. But, by the end of Dwapara, these sages concluded what is dharma and what is adhrama in one sentence.
It is
whatever is liked by God is justice and whatever is disliked by God is injustice.
These sages borned as Gopikas and crossed all types of justice for the sake of God Krishna. For such climax of devotion, they got the highest abode Goloka, which was specially created by Lord Krishna.
they gave butter to Lord Krishna even neglecting their children. this shows their strong bond with Krishna than even their children.
they danced with Krishna leaving their husbands and this shows that they gave more importance to Krishna than their husbands.
they were ready to go to hell for the sake of Krishna and offered their feet dust was required to reduce the head-ache of Krishna.
they even crossed the bond with their own life for the sake of Lord, when jumped in to fire after hearing that Krishna left the body.
Sacrificing everything and everybody for the sake of God is the highest justice. Prahlada sacrificed his own father for the sake of God. Hanuman & shankara left their old mothers for the sake of God.
It is the acceptance of everything and everybody (and not the sacrifice thereof) for own self (and not for the sake of God, who in any case never wants you to do it) is highest justice to the creations of God, and He likes it.
2. God does not have a will. He is an abstract entity.
3. One can be sure about the truth of mythologies by shedding his or her basic common sense.
The Veda, the Bible & the Gita are the authorities. Other Sanskrit verses written by blind scholars are not authorities. Anybody who has learnt Sanskrit can write a verse. Even Charvaka, the atheist, wrote Sanskrit verses.
In spiritual effort three important things are there. 1) Knowing about self; 2) Knowing the destination & 3) the path to reach the destination. Regarding knowing about self, it is sufficient if you know that you are not the destination (Lord). Regarding the destination, you should identify the Lord in human form and He is our destination. The identification is by His true infinite spiritual knowledge.
Path is the most essential part of spiritual journey. The path leading to Lord is full of sacrifice only, which is only the real indication of our true love towards Him.
That is why Jesus told the path leading to kingdom of Lord is very narrow filled with thorns. Because practical sacrifice nobody enjoys. Sacrificing words, mind and intelligence can be done without botheration as Lord has already given them freely.
