It is wisely said that the most valuable things in this world are free or available at very low price. Air, the most valuable thing for life is free for everyone. The water too is available generally free or ant nominal price. The items of food are also quite cheep and so are the cloths the covers our body. They are cheap not because their value is less but because being the necessity of every human being, they are available in plenty for everyone.
One of the most valuable nonmaterial necessities for human soul to live is trust or faith. Faith can be compared with food or water without which the soul shall dies. Yet most people take faith for granted as it available free and we are trusted so much by our loved ones. Often the people who trust us also love us so much that we never fear losing them. We do not realize the bond of love is nothing but faith on each other. IF the bond is broken, nothing can keep love intact.
Some people realize the value of faith only after it is lost. Once such example is the loss of faith by Tiger Wood, the top golfer in the world, to his wife and fans. Tiger Woods is likely to give his wife USD 750 million in a divorce deal. He has already lost many contracts with top world companies where he would have earned billions of dollars. Today, no one wish to make Tiger Wood as their brand ambassador. How can a man, who could not be trusted by his loved wife, be trusted by strangers?
He must have now realized the financial cost of betraying the faith which is besides the loss of prestige in the eyes of his fans and friends.
There are many people who cannot earn a million dollar in a lifetime while there are people who can earn a million dollar in a day. The people, who earn more, often ascribe their value to their superior intelligence and experience. The fact is that the value of the person is as much physical and mental as much spiritual. If intelligence would have been the criteria of earning money or become powerful, the person with highest High IQ would have ruled the world and also must have been the richest.
In reality the top leaders in the field of wealth or power are hardly most intelligent. Yet they acquire high position in their life because of the trust posed by a large number of people. If Microsoft is the biggest software company today, it is not due to the innovations and coding done by Bill Gates alone but because of the trust posed by hundreds and even thousands of their employees who have posed their faith in Bill Gates. Their company has been the biggest software company in the world because the people trusted its products.
Every great leader from the time of Alexander the Great to Barak Obama acquired their position due to the trust and faith of millions of people in them. If they lose their faith, they become just an ordinary person with no special value.
You must, therefore, never take faith for granted because the value of faith is not only moral but also financial. While you have no qualm about morality, you may surely be bothered about money. Faith, therefore, make sense even to those whose God is money.
