I stood stealthily with warm eyes,
Watched by a squirrel lovely in size.
Intended to aver my love for it,
I whistled, smiled and crouched.
It was scared in the vicinity of me
And swayed back envisaging rescue.
Its bulging eyes could well speak,
The brutal language of deep ache.
“The walloped dreams and trapped lane,
The escalation of EVIL in every humane.
Your bogus stature and fake eminence
Extorting our beauty through violence.
I cannot further Trust you for,
The tranquil deal, NOT any more!
You need to answer our questions first,
For betraying us each time we trust.
The reason for trammeling us,
And violating norms that were pious.
Our wishes were so badly chopped,
Smile, on our face now, seems so odd.”
My eyes were sore, tongue entangled
Heart filled with guilt, spirit mangled.
And I moved away to be a man…
